Business Development Manager
Autajon Packaging Simply Cartons is part of the Autajon Group, a European leader in premium and specialist packaging solutions. We design and manufacture high-quality folding cartons for leading brands across food, confectionery, spirits, beauty, healthcare and gifting.
As part of our ambitious growth plans, we are looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager with a strong hunter mentality to accelerate new business wins across our target sectors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new business acquisition across key sectors
  • Identify, target and win new customers through proactive prospecting and networking
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities via Salesforce
  • Lead the full sales cycle – from initial contact through to negotiation and close
  • Deliver compelling presentations and commercially robust proposals
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers
  • Manage and grow a small existing portfolio
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams
  • Represent the business at exhibitions, industry events and customer meetings

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    About You
    • Proven “hunter” with a strong track record of winning new business in a B2B environment
    • Experience within folding cartons / packaging / manufacturing highly desirable
    • Commercially driven with the ability to open doors and close deals
    • Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
    • Self-motivated, resilient and results-focused
    • Able to manage your own pipeline and prioritise effectively
    • Experience using CRM systems (ideally Salesforce)
    • Full UK driving licence
