Key Account Manager

Autajon Boston: Located in the greater Nashua, NH area Autajon Packaging Boston is a full-service packaging provider offering traditional folding cartons and a variety of other innovative styles. Some of our well-known customers are Lindt, Hersey, Godiva, and Ferrero Rocher. We currently employ 100 regular full-time employees year-round and roughly 80 seasonal employees. The Nashua facility is located 30 minutes outside Boston, an hour from the ocean and one and half hours from the mountains making it a great place for the outdoors person to live or to raise a family.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and grow positive client relationships, liaising between clients and management.
  • Work closely with Administrative Sales Coordinators (ASCs) to maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction.
  • Focus on growing and developing existing clients, along with generating new business.
  • Ensure customer requests and needs are met daily, effectively understanding and communicating facility capabilities and processes.
  • If applicable, work with the Global Account Manager in identifying customer needs and priorities, producing the recommendations into preliminary, general, and final detailed designs.
  • Coordinate with production department on customer job delivery dates.
  • Coordinate customer orders from initial inquiry through all phases to delivery.
  • Work independently and within a team on special non-recurring and ongoing projects.
  • Travel up to 25%+ to facilities within the Group and clients/events domestically – International travel are exceptions
  • Attend tradeshows as necessary such as Luxepack (New York) and others.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by Executive Leadership and the Global Account Manager.

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must learn and comply with all Autajon group safety rules, in reference to the employee handbook.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • College degree: packaging science, business administration and marketing courses preferred.
  • Fluency in French a plus.
  • 2-years industry experience preferred in packaging.
  • Must display an attitude that is key to success.
  • Strong account management and relationship building skills.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), ERPs and basic computer programs. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are a plus
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills along with the ability to prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
