JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create production orders from sales orders into Epicor.
- Analyze and decide the best way to produce the job with the help of the Master Spec system.
- Estimate job(s) and relevant alternate/value engineering scenarios in a timely, accurate, and economical way for competitive pricing.
- Create production layouts, identifying opportunities for combo or tandem runs.
- Work with Pre-Make Ready department to verify the tooling availability for all stamping, embossing, debossing, die cutting and blanking orders.
- Order die cutting, embossing, and stamping dies as necessary.
- Allocate raw materials (board and corrugated) and post availability on Job Approvals.
- Obtain samples from retain room for all repeat orders as per the production request form.
- Print job tickets and create the job bag with all necessary approved documentation including specs for Estee Lauder and L'Oréal with AD code.
- Order Seal Vectors for all L'Oréal new items.
- Keep a log of all factory tickets waiting for approvals and communicate with ASC's/Sales to get them approved.
- Obtain approved proofs, separations, and size and style for all new items.
- Ensure job bags are complete with accurate and reliable instructions while seeking approval from the Production Managers as required.
- Perform additional tasks as needed in support of manufacturing operations, customers and suppliers.
- Utilize creativity and innovation in approach toward project execution and continuous improvement, with key focus on tracking and communication transparency.
- As needed, act as the backup Estimator by responding to requests from the sales and customer service team and create production layouts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Packaging Engineering or Packaging Science degree.
- Ability to understand technical customer requirements.
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent computer skills with an emphasis on ERP systems, CAD and estimating software.
- Excellent organizational, analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Compensation: $50k-$55k (based on experience)
