JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your Role

Are you detail oriented, highly organized, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? Do you love the challenge of performing a wide variety of tasks as you work collaboratively with your team to achieve goals in a casual environment? If so, we have an opportunity for a Project Manager to become a member of the operations team and oversee the modification of an existing warehouse facility into a manufacturing facility. This includes all aspects of project from inception to completion, ensuring it is complete on time, within budget, and according to specifications by managing all phases of the modification process, collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders, while adhering to local building codes and safety regulations.

Pay Range: $90-110K/annual

Your Responsibilities

  • The primary objective is to modify an existing new building build as a warehouse to transfer our manufacturing activities in a 12 to 18 month timeframe
  • Set needed construction and amenities
  • Follow-up for an on-time and on-budget achievement
  • Supervise all work by outside contractors to ensure that they are completing their work satisfactorily
  • Maintain all documentation of work
  • Advise/recommend/design project modifications and additions to improve Operations performance after moving, reduce project completion time, reduce project overall cost
  • Manage capital projects, develop scope of work and conduct bids. Oversee work and approve progress payments and final sign-off of the projects. Track compliance and make appropriate recommendation
  • Mentor and develop team members

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications Needed

  • 5 years of overall project management experience
  • At least 3 years managing warehouse or manufacturing facility modifications specifically
  • Previous experience in California construction projects is highly valuable due to state-specific regulations
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field would be a plus.
