JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Your Role
Are you a detail-oriented experienced foil stamping operator who prefers working in a clean and safe manufacturing environment? Do you enjoy working collaboratively with a team to achieve goals? Have you consistently made decisions demonstrating regard for your customers? If so, we have an opportunity for a Foil Stamping Operator on our 2nd shift to work with our 104 Bobst Expert Foil and 102 BMA in our printing department that would allow you to set-up, operate and maintain the equipment for the foil stamping process in compliance with ISO 9000 standards.
Pay Range: $23.00-$30.00/hour
Shift: 1:15pm-9:45pm M-F
Your Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain the foil stamping presses (104 Bobst Expert Foil, 102 BMA) that foil stamp and emboss paperboard in accordance with proof and job instructions.
- Perform in-process inspection while running job and notify supervisor of defect trends and non-conforming foil stamping and embossing quality.
- Assist die coordinator on positioning of foil/embossing dies.
- Complete foil stamping checklist for each job; collect and input plant data collection.
- Communicate clearly and precisely with internal and external customers.
- Review and follow documented procedures, job jackets, and specifications accurately.
- Perform preventive maintenance on foil stamping presses.
- Participate in the team process and consistently attentive to quality throughout manufacturing process
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications Needed
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED; Minimum 1-year experience operating foil stamping equipment industry experience preferred.
- Credentials: Valid state issued driver's license preferred.
- Skills: Ability to frequently lift / move up to fifty (50) pounds. Ability to make adjustments on equipment as needed. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Able to read/understand English, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms, or other related documents
- Characteristics: Strong attention to detail. Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs. Performs well in a team environment. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
