Sales Support Specialist

Based in Southern California, close to the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, Autajon Packaging Thoro has provided more than 50 years of award-winning experience in innovative folding carton design and manufacturing experience.

Our eco-friendly packaging expertise caters to customers across multiple industries such as Medical, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, and Health & Beauty. We are ISO certified and utilize state-of-the-art technologies to meet the strictest standards of excellence in folding carton manufacturing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Summary

Assists Sales Representatives and Service Team in gathering required information, providing reports and insights as well as support activities to drive sales and marketing efforts.

Prepares and efficiently processes orders and provide quality information and products per procedures in compliance to ISO 9001 standards. Supports team to prepare and process major bids. Collects and analyzes data received from Estimating, Design, Prepress and Customer.


Pay Range: $24.00-$28.00/hour

Principal Job Responsibilities

  • Support sales team and account coordinators to ensure sales success by preparing / optimizing presentations, marketing collaterals and researching pertinent background information; coach sales reps to become self-sufficient with digital tools where appropriate
  • Key point of contact to support sales reps extracting and entering customer and contact information from our prospecting database, utilizing workflows to automate outreach and follow ups
  • Manage and monitor CRM entries, inform sales reps about new features
  • Creative mind to coordinate and execute marketing activities with team or 3rd party support (e. g. preparing trade shows, designing new brochures, promotional items...)
  • Backup resource for our B2B online shop offering, including support of digital marketing activities
  • Prepare bids, coordinate customer surveys and other support activities where needed
  • Proactive mindset to propose ideas, optimize and automate processes and thinking “digital”.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience in Customer Service or sales-related function
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • High school, general education degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of sales and customer service principles and practices
  • Comfortable utilizing the entire MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures
  • Problem analysis and problem solving
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive mindset and learning-attitude to drive new projects and ideas

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years experience in Customer Service or sales-related function
  • Marketing degree or practical background
  • Passion for graphic design (Photoshop, Procreate, InDesign, Illustrator...)
  • Experience managing CRM tools (SalesForce, Odoo, HubSpot)
  • Experience with prospecting tools (ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator, Apollo...)
  • Experience with task automation and / or utilization of AI tools
