Sales Support Administrator
Autajon Labels Royston: We are an award-winning label printing company, established in 1984 as Royston Labels Ltd, and joined the Autajon Group in 2023. As a growing business, we pride ourselves on developing high-end, top-quality labels for our well-known clients in the Cosmetics & Toiletries, Health & Nutrition, Drinks, and Pharma industries. We use our in-depth knowledge of traditional & digital print technologies, and combine this with innovative embellishments, as well as incorporating sustainability as a priority focus in our entire process. Based in Royston, near Cambridge, and with a team of 70 employees, we always aim to provide a quality service, and provide the skills, craftmanship & care required in every part of our manufacturing process to make beautiful, impactful labels.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Account Management team, currently consisting of 2 Customer Service Account Managers and 1 Sales Administrators who report into the Head of Account Management.

As a Sales Support Administrator in our Account Management Team, you will:
  • Raise repeat orders, ensuring that prices charged match the estimate, and increase margin where possible
  • Use the Company database (CERM) to record and maintain customer information, and to manage orders
  • Ensure all jobs are inputted on CERM in a timely manner, allowing for the production teams to fulfil orders
  • Amend existing jobs to the required quantities & specifications
  • Manage incomplete jobs and call-off jobs
  • Support the Account Management team with amended repeat orders
  • File and maintain product files
  • Answer incoming ‘phone calls and handle queries when appropriate
  • Produce spreadsheets for costing models generated by the Account Management team
  • Complete expedite reports, including pull forward, push back and quantity amendments
  • Support the Account Managers with any administrative requests
  • Process, collate, and file job bags
  • Manage status updates on CERM for all job bags
  • Provide holiday cover for colleagues in the Account Management team, including sending order confirmations and proof approvals
  • Provide holiday cover for the Receptionist when required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

What we're looking for:

  • The initiative to react quickly when a situation arises.
  • Knowledge of printing and packaging would be advantageous, but experience in a Customer-focused or administrative position is essential
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and successfully prioritise your workload.
  • Ability to ensure paperwork is completed accurately and display the confidence to comfortably and accurately discuss any mistakes on customer orders.
  • Ability to communicate and guide customers through the entire ordering process.
  • Someone with a passion for delivering the highest level of customer service.
  • A positive attitude to learning and development.
  • An enthusiasm to work as part of a team, but also be able to use your initiative to work independently.
  • Someone who can maintain a high level of consistency and reliability, which ensures efficiency and productivity.
  • An appreciation and understanding that detail and quality is EVERYTHING when it comes to labels.
  • Someone who takes pride in their presentation, and can demonstrate tidiness and organisational skills.
  • An eagerness to solve problems and look at challenges with a positive outlook.
  • Confidence to communicate effectively to all employees of all levels in the business.
  • A desire to work creatively within the printing and packaging industry.
  • Experience with working within the remit of ISO9001, PS9000, or BRC would be advantageous.
